Voting in this B.C. election will be easier than ever, with expanded opportunities to vote in advance and by mail. The most important thing you can do to help David Eby get re-elected is to let us know that you will be voting for him. That helps our campaign make sure we are focusing on new and undecided voters.

Make sure to fill in your contact information and address so we can check you off against the Elections BC voters list to confirm that you are registered to vote.

The best way to vote is to vote early. But regardless of when you vote, make a plan and stick to it!

Vote by Mail

Request your ballot online at: elections.bc.ca/ovr, or by calling 1-800-661-8683.

Elections BC recommends requesting your ballot by Monday, October 12 at the latest so that you have enough time to receive the ballot and return it. You can return your completed ballot by putting it in any postbox, or bringing it to the District Electoral Office.

Advance Voting 

You can vote any time by going to the District Electoral Office at 2106 West Broadway. The office will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. It will also be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. during advance voting.

October 15-21: advanced polling locations are open across the riding. Locations for advanced polling will be posted on the Elections BC website when confirmed.

Vote on Election Day

Election Day is Saturday, October 24. Polls are open from 8:00am - 8:00pm.

• It is faster to vote at your assigned voting place, but you can vote at another voting place if it is more convenient to you.
• General Voting Day voting places and the dates they are open are being confirmed and will be posted on the Elections BC website when available.

Student Voting

Students can vote in the B.C. provincial election if they are a Canadian citizen, 18 or older on General Voting Day, and a resident of B.C. for the past six months.

• You may still be a resident of B.C. even if you are attending school in a different province
• You can also be a resident if you are from another province and attending school in B.C., if you have been in B.C. for at least 6 months before the election and meet the other voter registration requirements
